The Clerk of the Board's Office provides support to the Chino Valley Fire District Board of Directors and the Fire Chief. The Clerk of the Board serves as the clearing house for all matters requiring the review or executive action of the governing authorities of the Chino Valley Fire District and serves as the manager for general administration.
The Clerk of the Board is charged with processing and disseminating all board directives, policies, and ordinances. The Clerk of the Board also serves as custodian of all official records and oversees the preparation and posting of public meeting agendas, public hearing notices, and ordinances. The Clerk of the Board is also responsible for public records in accordance with the Public Records Act and serves as filing officer for conflict of interest statements as required by the Fair Political Practices Commission.
