Permits & Plan Review
The Fire District conducts plan review and requires permits on variety of construction related projects or occupancy operations. The Fire District reviews theses plans to ensure compliance with state and local codes, as they pertain to fire and life safety.
The Fire District also requires the review of filming and or special events, such as carnivals, fairs, large sporting events, Christmas tree lots and Fireworks booths.
The above list is not inclusive of all activities requiring a permit. Contact Community Risk Reduction at 909-902-5280, Option 2 and 2 or e-mail email@example.com to determine what is necessary for a specific project or event.
The Fire District works in conjunction with the cities of Chino, Chino Hills, and the San Bernardino County Building and Planning Department for all new construction, tenant improvements, and special events. Applications, plans, and fees for a permit by the Fire District must be submitted directly to our office, as this is a separate process from the cities we serve.
